Dr. Femi Aribisala is one of the proprietors of Nouveau. He is also the headmaster.
He is a retired research fellow of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Lagos. He was educated at Government College, Ibadan, Nigeria; St. Georges’ English School, Rome, Italy; Institut International d’Etudes Francaises, Rambouillet, France; Warwick University, Coventry, England; School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, Washington D.C., United States; and St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, England.
He is a grandfather and has been working with children in different capacities for the better part of 25 years.
Professor (Mrs.) Karen King-Aribisala is the other proprietor. She is currently a Professor of English at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She was educated at International School, Ibadan, Nigeria; St. Winifred’s School for Girls, Llanfairfechan, Wales; School of St. Mary and St Anne, Abbots Bromley, Staffordshire, England; St. George’s English School, Rome, Italy; University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Bridgetown, Barbados; University of Leeds, Leeds, England; and University of Sussex, Brighton, England.
Karen’s collection of stories, “Our Wife and Other Stories,” won the 1991 Commonwealth Writers’ Prize, Best First Book Africa. Her novel, “The Hangman’s Game,” won the 2008 Commonwealth Writers’ Prize, Best Book Africa.
